Tank brawlers in Brawl Stars
Takes space up close and beats control, but falls to antitanks. Here's how Smart Draft defines the tank role, how the draft assistant uses it, and every brawler who plays it.
What a tank does
Tanks have the health to walk through damage and take space at close range. In Smart Draft's model they beat control brawlers, and assassins can't counter them.
The problem is the antitank. Once the enemy has one, a tank turns into a liability, which is why tanks are rarely safe to show early. Map choice matters too: some maps are marked as unsuitable for tanks altogether, and on those the assistant won't suggest one.
Tanks rely on walls and bushes to close the gap. When the enemy drafts a wall-breaker and clears that cover, a tank's approach is exposed.
