What a sniper does

Snipers deal damage from the longest range in the game. Their value depends heavily on the map and the mode, because a sniper needs sightlines long enough to keep enemies at a distance.

Belle, for example, is drafted as a sniper for Knockout and Bounty.

Like every fragile backliner, snipers are vulnerable to assassins that reach them. A sniper with an escape tool is harder to punish: the author points to Angelo's escape gadget as the reason this sniper is harder to counter than most.
