Privacy policy

Last updated 16 October 2026. Smart Draft is a free web app for Brawl Stars Ranked drafting at smartdraftassistant.com. This page explains what the site stores, what it sends elsewhere, and what your choices are.

Who is responsible

The site is run by an individual sole trader registered in Denmark. For any question about this policy or about data held about you, write to [email protected].

What is stored on your device

The app keeps your settings (interface language, the last mode and map you used, and your saved player tag if you entered one) in your browser's local storage. This never leaves your device, it isn't an account, and clearing your browser data removes it permanently.

A service worker caches the app files so the app keeps opening without a connection. That cache holds program files and brawler images only.

Your Brawl Stars player tag

If you enter a player tag, it's sent to our server so it can be forwarded to Supercell's official Brawl Stars API and the public statistics for that tag returned to you. We don't build a profile from it and don't link it to any other information about you. Entering a tag is optional: the draft assistant, the tier list and the guides all work without one.

Draft requests

To calculate a recommendation, the app sends the draft you entered (mode, map, bans and picks, and, if you saved a tag, the list of brawlers you own) to our server. It's used to answer that request and isn't used to identify you.

Hosting

The site and its server run on Cloudflare, which processes technical request data such as IP addresses to deliver pages and protect the service against abuse.

Visitor statistics

We count page visits with GoatCounter, a privacy-focused analytics service that sets no cookies and doesn't track people across sites. It records the page viewed, the referring site, the country, and rough browser and screen information. See the GoatCounter privacy statement for the details.

Advertising

This site is free because it shows advertising. Ads are served by Google.

Children

The site isn't directed at children under 13 and we don't knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has provided information here, write to the address above and it will be deleted.

Your rights

Because we hold no accounts and no profiles, there's normally nothing stored about you on our side to access, correct or delete beyond what sits in your own browser. Under the GDPR you may still ask what is held about you, ask for it to be corrected or erased, object to processing, or complain to the Danish Data Protection Agency (Datatilsynet).

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version replaces this page and the date at the top is updated.
