Smart Draft Tier list Brawler guides How to draft How it works FAQ About

Frequently asked questions

What Smart Draft does, what it costs, where the data comes from, and how the recommendations are produced.

Is it free?

Yes, completely free — the full app, no sign-up required. There is no paid tier and no feature kept behind a login. The site is funded by advertising.

Does it work offline?

Yes — after the first launch the app works fully offline. The tier list and the brawler guides are separate web pages, so those need a connection the first time you open them.

Where does brawler data come from?

The database and logic are our own, updated every meta patch. Portraits come from the open Brawlify fan API. Live map rotations and player statistics come from Supercell's official Brawl Stars API.

Is this an official Supercell app?

No, it's a fan project not affiliated with Supercell. Brawl Stars and all brawler artwork belong to Supercell, used here under their Fan Content Policy.

Does it use AI to pick for you?

No. The assistant runs a rule-based score in your browser, on your device — there are no AI calls. The score weighs role counters, the brawler's tier, the map type, the role your composition still needs, and what has been banned.

Do I have to enter my player tag?

No. The draft assistant, the tier list and the guides all work without one. Entering a tag only adds two things: recommendations limited to brawlers you actually own, and your own statistics. The tag is forwarded to Supercell's official API and is not used to build a profile.

Why does this tier list differ from others?

Most tier lists rank brawlers by raw strength. This one ranks them by draft value — how reliably a brawler wins the role it gets picked for. That is why a brawler with modest damage can sit above a flashier one: if it answers what the enemy took, it wins the draft slot.

Can a low-tier brawler still be the right pick?

Often, yes. Map and mode matter more than tier. A thrower is excellent on a closed map and nearly useless on an open one, whatever tier it sits in. The same is true in reverse for snipers. Tier narrows your options; the map decides between them.

Does it work for every mode?

It covers the ranked modes, and the advice changes with the mode. Gem Grab needs someone who can hold gems and survive; Heist rewards burst damage against the safe; Brawl Ball rewards mobility and control near the goal; Knockout punishes anything that cannot fight at range.

How do I install it on my phone?

Open the site in your phone's browser and choose Add to Home Screen. It then behaves like an installed app and works offline.
